Unfortunately, he soon realises that something is very wrong in Witherleigh.Richard is pulled into an alleyway and warned that he must leave straight away or he will be next… ‘Haven’t you wondered why there is a vacancy at the church? They killed him. They’re all in it together.’ Soon Richard is drawn into a centuries old conspiracy involving ancient farming families, witchcraft, and demonry. To find justice for the missing curates, Richard must fight for not only his life but for the souls of the missing.

'Welcome To Witherleigh' is a dark paranormal, murder mystery set in the heart of the Devon countryside.

The Review - 'Fantastic clever descriptions, readable, engaging, educational .... I won't be stopping in some farmer's caravan from now on. Clever twists in the story and brilliant dark humour, use of certain words conjured up imagery that might make us blush as much as Richard. You've captured Devon perfectly. I loved the hints about various characters habits ... the role of the church in rural communities ... ministering to their flock ... the organic veg box !!! .... and the whole happy chicken thing is topically engaging .... you find a good burger made from happy chickens ... mmm, I'm sure. I can only surmise you've been in some odd situations to be able to write it so fluently...Your work had some wonderful situational humour too.One more thing, the innocence of Richard caught up in situations that to outside observers made him without doubt guilty! Clever stuff. 'He was in the toilet with his doll cutting himself ' ... how damning is that eh? Really well done,' RS
