Olivia Rose is your typical nine-year-old who has the world in the palm of her hands. She lives next door to her BFF, Brianna. The girls have been best friends almost their entire lives. Then, a few months before Olivia’s tenth birthday, her whole world is shattered. Olivia receives a special journal on her tenth birthday. The Tween Chronicles follows Olivia’s day-to-day life and how she deals with the loss of her BFF, as well as all the new changes in her life as she goes from being a child to a “tween.” During the course of a year, Olivia encounters bullies, boys, and many other interesting things.
