language ( May 26, 2018)
In 1970 mid-west America, 13-year-old cousins Dylan and Allison are enjoying the best summer of their lives. Since Allison’s family moved near Dylan’s, the two have become inseparable. Then something happens that changes the summer vacation, and their lives, forever.

While skateboarding, Allison is struck down by a car and enters a coma that lasts for months, thrusting them both into a series of events they will never forget. During this time they enter into a series of challenges while they’re asleep and dreaming, challenges that are terrifying and seemingly life threatening. Can one die in a dream, and if they do will they never wake up?

The Gate is highly charged with action and suspense as these two teens go up against unbelievable odds that challenge their courage and commitment to each other.
