Tales of the Bearfolk is a series of short stories and novellas that take place in the enchanted valley of Beornheim, a mystical realm inhabited by clever, adventurous bears. Based loosely on Norse and Finnish mythology, Tales of the Bearfolk seeks to bring ancient, time honored stories to new readers and listeners and to impart lessons of our interconnectedness with nature and our friends in the animal kingdom. Some of the Tales of the Bearfolk are mirthful, others bittersweet, but all take place in a world that allows a child of any age to enter the realm of unbridled imagination and to let their heart soar among the stars.
