Joey the kangaroo is a native of West Queensland, Australia. He is a true blue Aussie. His special mate is Annie, who saves his life. Set in Western Queensland, with its distant hills and range, rolling grassy plains and famous gum trees, has a beauty of its own; especially at sunrise and sunset. After Annie and her Dad rescue Joey, Annie has the job of looking after him, and the antics he gets up to as he grows.
