When Marshall University's plane crashed in 1970, there were no survivors. The entire football team, many fans, and most of the staff, including coach Al Carelli, were on the plane. Halftime is Marti Carelli-Gilbert's touching, personal account of the man she loved: how they fell in love, married, and had two children. It is also the inspirational story of one woman's coping with tragedy and moving on with her life.
