Gertie Swashbuckle is a pirate in the making. Captain Swashbuckle is, erm.... not.
When her fish-out-of-water parents inherit the family business - a pirate ship and its scallywag crew - young Gertie has to teach her wonderfully inept dad how to be Captain and save him from the plank in these wonderfully fun, stand-alone stories about teamwork and helping other people.
In THE QUEST TO SPOOK SHIVERY, Gertie must help her dad scare Shivery Timbers on Halloween or face the plank. Unfortunately, Captain Swashbuckle is terrified of most things and Shivery isn't. Good luck, Gertie!
