All he has to help him in his quest is a plastic moustache that he found in the gravy on Christmas Day, a box full of dodgy disguises and a friend called Nigel. But soon the wannabe spies stumble across something odd at number 83 Daffodil Road. The place seems darker, stranger and more mysterious than the other houses in the road. The red bricks seem redder, the windows a little mistier and as for the fences, well they seem much higher, almost as if they were trying to keep prying eyes out.
