Eliza Bark and the wizard's woe

Eliza Bark is just like any other 9-year-old, until her birthday that is. Thinking she is losing her mind, scared and angry, she is thrust into a magical world of bizarre creatures, abnormal changes and marvellous spells. As it turns out, the only person who can guide her through such a troubling transition is a strange man at her school, a wizard who lives a quiet life. But all doesn’t go well, hindered by Eliza’s craving for more and her insatiable curiosity, things only get worse as her life unravels, a dark truth comes out and people mysteriously start to disappear.
