A dangerous storm. A shipwrecked boy. A wild pony.
Wet. Cold. Alone.
Survival.
Simon washes ashore after a terrible storm. There is no one near to comfort, shelter, or warm him. He must gather his wits and courage if he is to survive.
Loneliness.
Scared and alone, Simon finds a pony walking among the shadows on the beach.
Friendship.
Sometimes, friendship is found in the most unlikely of places. Simon comes to depend on the pony's friendship, but he misses his family terribly. Will he ever find a way to return home?
