When 13-year-old Jadekit Tuson graduates from the Academy of Detectives, he's more than a little unhappy to discover that his first assignment is looking for the Loch Ness Monster. He doesn't believe in such supernatural creatures, and besides, if no one has found it after hundreds of years of searching, why should he expect any luck? But luck must be on Jadekit's side, because before long, he's hot on the trail of the mythical creature. Unfortunately for Jadekit, that trail leads him straight into an international conspiracy that could cost him, and the Loch Ness Monster, their lives...
