When I Grow Up I Want To Be A Christmas Tree

This children's picture book starts out with a real families experiences while camping in Northern Michigan. The story is told from the perspective of a small pine sapling that they discovered on some campfire wood they found in the forest. The young boys in the family, being from a big city, did not want to discard the little tree, but rather plant it and see if it grows. They take it home and care for it and the tree becomes a part of the family. Over the many years the little sapling was in the yard of the family, it grew into a perfectly shaped Christmas tree. This amazing tree had a dream which inspired the family and helped them to reach their own goal. Everything came together on the most magical Christmas this family ever had.
