We all lose things from time to time. But when you do, do you ever think to look for them in your hair? Probably not. But perhaps little Snarla Rena should.

Author and illustrator Suzanne Norman’s Snarla Rena is the story of a little girl whose hair is getting out of control. Food, toys, and other things are often in her hair when she gets on the schoolbus every morning. One morning it’s so bad Snarla Rena’s best friend, Pauline, warns her that if she doesn’t do something about it, there won’t be room for her in the seat!

Like many children, Snarla Rena’s parents work, so they don’t have time to help her get ready for school. Snarla Rena shows the importance of children taking responsibility for preparing for the day.
