Felix Phelps' 35 Things I Have Learned
language
( April 25, 2013)
Felix Phelps is a senior in high school and, after an incident where he chickened out on a high school prank is required by his principal to write an essay on what he has learned throughout his life. In order to accomplish this, Felix recounts thirty-five important life lessons he has learned prior to his impending graduation. He has narrowed the list down to thirty-five mainly because that's all the room he had on his paper. He elaborates on everything from asking stupid questions to throwing cats down laundry chutes to his views on adults and authority figures to why high school parties suck to the unachievable burdens placed on men by romantic comedies to his misadventure accidentally driving the family car out of state on a school night. Charismatic and always with a good dose of humor, Felix pokes fun at his own mistakes and how he learned from them. With his best friend Ace and girlfriend Livvy to back him up, Felix survives his share of mishaps and learns about life, love, family, friendship, and most importantly how to be himself.
