George is a very lucky boy. He has everything a boy could want, except for one thing...a pet! When George's father finally makes the promise that George could get one, he doesn't know what he is in for. How is George supposed to know that his pet can't be too big, or too scampery, or too toothy, too prolific, or too . . . unusual?
