The Hero And The Queen

Kiran always yearned for a better life. A life without foster homes, shady friends, and no future. Most importantly, a life with the girl he’s dreamed about his entire life. He doesn’t even know her name, but as he nears eighteen he knows he’s in love with her.

When a strange man finds him sitting half-drunk on a curb and wants to take him to another world, Kiran goes willingly enough, never expecting it to be real. Now Kiran’s caught in a fight he barely understands, where light and dark fairies twist human lives to their own ends and he is the one destined to kill the Queen of the Realm. It seems like a great adventure until he finds out the queen is literally the girl of his dreams.

Leila, unlike Kiran, has known the identity of the boy in her dreams since they were children. Always aware he was the one who must destroy her, she fell in love with him anyway. It’s her deepest secret, one she’s managed to keep from the dark fairy who otherwise controls her life. She doesn’t want to kill him, but there is darkness inside of Leila growing stronger with every passing day.

With Leila’s rise to power looming closer, Kiran must decide whether to fight for the good of the realm and his new friends, or let the girl he loves live. If she lives, can she fight off the dark fairy’s influence or is she destined to give into her dark power?
