Boogie and Leon

Boogie and Leon grew up next door to each other and became fast friends through a hole in the fence. Boogie is a worrier and a Daschund, while Leon is a happy-go-lucky Golden Retriever with a very kind heart. They visit the dog park where they meet up with their other friends, Sammy, a Beagle, and Colleen, an Irish Setter. They also meet Butch, a former guard dog who is now a pet, but he is not happy about it! In fact, Butch has become a grouch. See what happens when the dogs enter the annual Halloween costume contest. If you're looking for adventure, Boogie and Leon will delight you! Johna Kent started writing when she acquired a Bassett Hound named Walter. He was her first dog after being owned by cats most of her life. She was intrigued by how Walter saw life from only a foot off the ground, and started getting ideas for writing a book series about dogs.
