Beatrice and Grayson made it home from their journey to the underworld, but they brought back more than they realized. Grayson struggles to find the normality that he so longed to return to, but hell’s taint left more than just scars on his body. Beatrice falls into another world when Grayson intervenes and tries to help her have a more social high school experience. It doesn’t take more than a few days back for Beatrice to find it ludicrous that ‘hell’ and ‘high school’ aren’t synonyms.
