In a time when the first citizens came to the Empire, there was a trader who traded on the longest road in the known world. On the road there were small towns where the river met the road; he would sail on the river and on to the sea, trading goods up and down the Empire. He was a dreamer he thought that one day he would have his own city, a golden city. As he travelled he heard whispers about the ancients, what they did, how they lived, and how they saw their world. Sometimes on his journeys he would arrive back at port and find all the old whispers had been forgotten, and new one's had replaced them. The trader had taken a great deal of notice of all the whispers he heard, he used to sit in the market place with a big book collecting them. The citizens called him the keeper of the whispers.
Now, the book was passed down through the generations and was now looking for a new home, and a new keeper, the Defenders of the Empire chose Angela.Enjoy reading The Book of Whispers? You may also like these books
