Cedrick Custod maybe the last hope for their world, but his father won’t let him know. Can he overcome his father or will watch as his world fall into darkness?At the beginning the creator called two families. The first was to be the land's kings, the Potentates. The second to protect the world, the Custods. This system worked well for hundreds of years. Until one decided to challenge it. The dark sorcerer named Heklis thinks he knows of a better way then his creator. He has destroyed the entire Potentate line and believes he's destroyed the Custods as well. But he's wrong. Margorim Custod and his three children, Roxorim, Arylana, and Cedrick still survive. Cedrick is their best hope of defeating Heklis. He is talented with magic far beyond the skills of any in the age, but he is unware of it. Though he and his siblings are ready for the fight, their father insists Cedrick is unprepared. Can Cedrick figure out why his father is holding him back, or will he be forced to stand by as his father lets the darkness engulf his world?
