The Lonely Troll is a charming folk tale about a brave girl who encounters a troll and sees the good inside despite his scary appearance. Her friendliness and positivity are rewarded and a valuable life lesson is learned.
This book was inspired by a grade 4 English assignment which challenged students to dream up a story involving a troll, an obstacle he creates, and a moral. Lyla took this to heart and created a picturesque narrative that will surely be enjoyed by young readers.
Lyla G is ten years old. She lives in Toronto, Ontario with her parents, two brothers, and sadly, no dog. This is the first story she has written.
