The Purity Purse

Jae Brazelton is an outgoing 12 year old that is new to Rickey Middle School. Although very different from living in the South, Jae finds it pretty easy to adjust to living in Baltimore and makes friends quickly. When Jae is invited to the year's biggest party by one of the cutest boys in school, she is super excited! She has no idea the peer pressure she will face at the party and does not quite know how to handle it until her mother, who she is close with, shares "the Purity Purse" with her. Jae has to make the decision of doing what she believes is right or doing what her friends say in hope to keep the friendships.
