A career soldier's life takes a turn when he is injured and refuses to sit behind a desk. He returns to his old hometown in rural northwest Pennsylvania with basically no family, except an elderly aunt. He decides to set up roots in a cabin far up in the hills away from civilization, where he can have peace and quiet.
His life turns into anything but that as he and his newly-acquired friend, Buddy the dog, and his Hummer truck get involved in all kinds of exciting adventures.
