The world was full of magic once, but those days have passed. What’s left of it is used by Scribes, artisans who weave magic into cards, and Diviners who make use of those cards in magical duels.
Yet there are those who would see even this faint remnant forgotten.
When an army descends upon his home the young scribe Del finds himself on a mission to save not just his order, but perhaps magic itself.
It’s a heavy burden for him to carry, even with loyal companions at his side. For even if he should succeed, there is no promise that his world will ever be the same.
The deck is shuffled, time to draw.
