The Gift of Paper

Jami is a girl who loves to create paper artwork. She uses her homework, coloring pages, and even her family's junk mail to create unique artwork. This frustrates her teacher, her friends, and her neighbor! Eventually she is invited by the President to visit the White House for Christmas where she discovers the true gift of her paper creations. Bonus cut-and-paste activity included inside.

This story is inspired by the real life story of artist and illustrator Jami Darwin. Ever since she was a little girl, she loved making things - especially with paper! She designed and made paper creations for the Obama White House Christmas from 2011-2014.
