Most SUVs were based on existing truck chassis with the result that early examples were pretty basic but were strong and powerful and soon became symbols of a new lifestyle. Large interest clubs have been formed by people who enjoy getting away and out into remote areas of the country where they can exploit the off-road capabilities of the Blazer to the fullest extent.
