(ecEmedia, a Division of the EC Corporation March 7, 2018)
"This story is an adaptation of the popular “Old MacDonald Had a Farm” children’s rhyme. It is told from the point of view of a farmer from the Philippines.
Old Ambrocio retires from city life and sets up a farm with his dog Bantay. His main work animal is the carabao, also known as the water buffalo). He raises the usual animals like geese, pigs, and goats, as well as rice and corn. He enjoys showing his farm to his grandchildren. Old Ambrocio shares his farm produce with his neighbors and friends.
A new set of verses is included to be sung like the popular children’s song."
