As I was walking one evening, Iail fummer, along s'te-cbapel, I was obliged to take ihelter from a ihower of rain, in a cottage near the Turn pike. The family were at Breakfail, at their tea, and as the rain continued, I had leifure to refleél on the: advantages of commerce, which thus m a manner joins the oppofite extremltres of the earth, by bringing their products toge ther: at the fame time, that thevariety in the equipage of the tea-table, or in deed ilool, on which there was notbmg ofa piece, faggei'ted a jail ridicule on the vanity of luxury.
