The Beginning of the End: A Dynasty Dissenters Novella

The Itchar Dynasty was elected over a hundred years ago to serve and protect the people. However, they stopped doing that a long time ago. Now they torment their citizens, taking everything away from them. If anyone speaks out against the Itchar Dynasty or does something that displeases them they are labeled a Dynasty Dissenter. And once you have that label it is only a matter of time before the Dynasty comes for you. The lucky ones are killed. The unlucky ones are sent to the Dynasty’s work camps.

Hannahbelle is seventeen years old and due to things outside of her control she is considered a Dynasty Dissenter. But Hannahbelle is lucky. She was able to escape the Itchar Dynasty’s death sentence with the help of people in the Itchar Rebellion. And since her escape she has been working with the Itchar Rebellion to bring down the Itchar Dynasty.

The Itchar Rebellion has completed small strikes against the Itchar Dynasty but now they are planning something big. And before Hannahbelle’s injuries from her first brush with the Itchar Dynasty have time to heal she is on to her next assignment.

Hannahbelle and her best friend Henry have been asked by the Council to co-lead a full on assault on one of the Itchar Dynasty’s work camps. In less than a week's time, Hannahbelle and Henry have to plan the attack, train the soldiers and then lead the soldiers into the camp. They are assigned two goals. Rescue as many camp prisoners as they can and destroy as much as they can.

During this time Hannahbelle is forced to confront things from her past. Things she would have never thought possible. And this leads her to consider her future. What it will look like and who will be there with her.
