Angelica Dylan is a normal ninth grader. Until recently, getting her friend Daniela to tutor her in Spanish and dodging Tomoyo’s attempts to get her to dress more kawaii were her biggest challenges. Well, that and figuring out how to get Bryce to notice her when he’s already dating her arch-nemesis Haylie.
She certainly didn’t expect a journalism assignment to end with her, Toy, and Dani waking up in a cemetery on Halloween night. Now weird things are happening to them, like not wanting to eat or sleep, not to mention the fact that their skin is turning green. Angelica never had to worry much about her complexion, until now.
Angelica needs to figure out what happened to them and how to fix it, fast. But with Haylie out to get her, her mom dating her creepy science teacher, and the cute new guy in school turning out to be a zombie hunter, that’s not going to be easy. She’d better watch her step or she may end up grounded for life.
