Fird the Bish

So, what is a bish? Well, it's sort of a bird, and sort of a fish. Poor Fird just doesn't fit in with the other fish, and it's time to learn a secret about his funny feathers. Every kid feels like he doesn't fit in sometimes, but when a family is different--single parent, multiracial, etc., it can be overwhelming. Fird's family isn't like the other fish in the lake, and this is the story of why. The first in a series, Fird will eventually learn how to be himself with pride, and the other fish will come to admire and respect his differences.
