Enya has lost much in the last few months and those losses have begun to take their toll on her. She is the Fire Wielder of her generation. Her focus has to be on stopping the Puppeteer.
Brand had been told that Enya’s love would be her undoing. He thought he was saving her life. Now, he must try to repair the damage he has done before the darkness changes Enya into something even worse than her father.
But the Puppeteer has plans. If he can taint the Fire Wielder’s magic, she will be his. He intends to do just that, in as cruel a way as possible.
