The Sacred Forest

language ( May 8, 2015)
Long ago in pre-Christian Ireland legend speaks of an ancient tribe known as the Tuatha De Danann (House of the Goddess Danu), a people who possessed great wisdom and practised mystic healing arts for many centuries. The source of their knowledge lay in their elemental understanding of, and spiritual connection to the great forests that covered the land. They lived for many generations in peace and harmony with their environment. Excelling in all areas of craftsmanship and artwork, their tools and artefacts were much sought after across the land. However, in time other tribes resented their accomplishments and also feared their knowledge and because of this, sought to destroy them.
This is the story of a young brother and sister, Cal and Finn, who are direct descendants of the Tuatha and are in possession of remarkable gifts - the power to commune with, and harness the natural forces of the world. Following a tragic incident Cal and Finn are raised unaware of each other's existence. When reunited the two teenagers fight to protect the last of their people who are being hunted by Cromm, a bloodthirsty and corrupt Druid priest, powerful in the dark arts and hungry to steal their knowledge and power through the ritual of human sacrifice.
