The Mirror Door

Upset after losing the part of Alice in her school play to her best friend, Kerri, Sammy loses her temper and quarrels first with Kerri and then with her mother, and finally even with her cat, Peaches. But Peaches won't let Sammy withdraw into self-pity. When Peaches nudges Sammy up the magical moonbeam path again, Sammy faces a series of challenges as she accompanies Peaches and BB on an exciting mission to solve a mystery and make peace between two quarreling queens. Along the way, Sammy must outwit jabberwocks and carnivorous humpties, hyperactive pixie soldiers and even a girl-eating dandelion. But in order to succeed Sammy has to learn to control her temper, which is something she's not quite sure she can do.
