A Guest at the Seder: A Passover Story

Paperback (CreateSpace Independent Publishing Platform Feb. 18, 2013)
Lilah, a plucky tree frog, decides she must leave her tropical rainforest and find a safer home. An extraordinary journey takes her far away from the lush forest and hungry snakes. To her amazement, at the end of her travels, Lilah finds herself right in the middle of Bubby’s Passover seder table. She uses her jungle survival skills to scavenge food without being noticed as the seder proceeds. After drinking from the vase of daffodils, Lilah hides under some lettuce as she listens to the Kiddush and the Four Questions. Her increasing curiosity leads to a much too-close encounter with one of the human guests, and possible catastrophe. Will the seder ground to a halt? Perhaps Lilah isn’t the only one who can think quickly.
