A Dog-Gone Story

As long as they can remember, Chris "Puck" Nadir and June "Bug" Deerstone have been neighbors and friends. Over the last year, the pair have grown apart. The sudden disappearance of June's beagle forces the two to understand why they had grown apart as they start a summer job at the carnival fairgrounds and launched their own investigation in what happened to the dog. The investigation leads the teens through Bleakwood, a small Northern Michigan town, and an array of suspects until they are confronted with a discovery- one that will change both of their lives.
