Antonette is only one of a number of military Captains that is becoming disillusioned with the way their Commanders are administering Earth. After a failed mission to deliver a battleship to a starbase in deep space, she decides to stay where she is. They salvage what they can from the destroyed starbase before it drifts down into the atmosphere and is disintegrated. The battleship Arizona is damaged beyond repair, and soon self-destructs. They are stranded.Antonette and her crew have to make a decision. There is a half built military base on the planet below. They decide to occupy the base and form a colony. That is where our story begins. Their first objective is to find supplies. They are in James' quadrant, but have no idea what to do next. This entire mission was full of flaws from the get go. As time passes, they meet Elizabeth. Their relationship is turbulent, but their chance meeting of Elizabeth is what saves their colony.The story takes several turns along the way. Some of those turns will lead to conflict. Others will lead to survival.
