Nymphs, a Toad Demon, and Crow Poop

When young Dorrell Fleth, paladin-in-training at the The Monastery and Military Academy of the Queen Goddess, wakes up in the middle of the night and sees a fantastical girl sitting at the end of his bed, he knows his life is about to change. He thinks she must be a Yishi forest nymph, an enchantress, or a witch.

When she disappears with his coveted longsword, Hellionslayer, Dorrell is forced to break his holy vows and leave the Monastery to recover his sword. He finds her and Hellionslayer at a local tavern, where she persuades him to help her rescue six little girls from Huldufůrk slavers.

At the castle he meets Ilya's chambermaid, Quiet Stream. She reveals she is a Yishi spy. She tells him that Ilya's governess is actually Grýla, an evil toad demon. She plans to eat the little girl and seize the throne. Dorrell helps Quiet Stream and Ilya escape from the castle.

After escaping the castle, Ilya shows she is much more than the Queen Goddess. At the Boohoo Baby Market, Dorrell sees nine babies destined for Huldufůrk cooking pots. Ilya uses her magic wand to disguise the babies as toads. They flee through Goatwood Forest with the Huldufůrk army and a toad demon in hot pursuit...
