The Hurricane's Eye

The Hurricane’s Eye is a story about Owen, who, seeking to flee his past, stows away on the indestructible pirate ship, the Hurricane’s Eye. The crew’s hatred for him has made it impossible to join them, until he and the captain meet Minerva, a magical woman who gives Owen a tattoo of a dragon on his arm. Owen discovers that the dragon, whose tattoo he has on his arm, attached to his soul before he was born and has been living dormant in him. The tattoo and his presence on the Hurricane’s Eye awaken the dragon’s soul and Owen suddenly finds himself at the heart of a decades-old search for the dragon’s soul mate, and ultimately his soul mate, the phoenix. While battling the dragon over control of his own body, Owen and the crew of the Hurricane’s Eye must overcome all odds, search the seas, and return the Phoenix’s still-beating heart to her human host and complete her soul before the crew on the ship Hell Hound find it.
