Peter Pan has become a social symbol representing young blamelessness and idealism. Peter Pan is an anecdotal character made by Scottish author and dramatist J. M. Barrie. A free-energetic and devilish little fellow who can fly and never grows up, Peter Pan spends his endless youth having undertakings on the legendary island of Neverland as the pioneer of the Lost Boys, communicating with pixies, privateers, mermaids, Native Americans, and sometimes conventional youngsters from the world outside Neverland.
