Chryseis Knight initially wrote the story in her notebook. She then shared this cute story with her family as one of her regular bedtime stories & with the help of her mother, went on to illustrate her book.

The meaning behind the book

There is an art of how Chryseis weaves elements of nature & the animal kingdom seamlessly with her imagination, emotions, and thoughts. It inspires us to reflect on relationships through the lens of a child, whether intentional or otherwise, around the importance of being inclusive, embracing differences, and accepting diversity.

Fonts used in the book

As easy as abc; writing came naturally for Chryseis at a very young age. Her handwriting was the inspiration for the font used in the book and the playful nature of the font sizes brought a touch of fun. The Great Big Lion is an educational and engaging experience for children readers.
