At six seasons, Serrith was sold for committing the crime of starving enough to steal a single apple. She was beaten unconscious and sold to a band of hearty adventurers, strangers, who took her in, fed, and nurtured her back to health.
Without mercy, she was thrust into the fires of the unnatural. The endless nights of darkness and terror stripped her mind of how to simply dream and feel anything but the dark.
Slave to the unholy, stripped of all that was wholesome, the shadow of the forlorn beset her, steadily tearing down what morals she possessed. What had struck terror into her once innocent heart, Serrith now tolerated.
After tolerating it for years, Serrith began to embrace it. That is when she ran.
