The destruction of existence—infinity’s end—grows steadily nearer. A small victory was won when Eddie Barnes and Del Anderson, friends from Frogmorton, Wisconsin, prevented the devastation threatened by an artifact from another reality: a gold pocket watch. And though they succeeded in eliminating one dangerous intrusion, they had not halted the bleeding—a contaminating transference of objects and events. Eddie and his friends also discover a trove of arcane papers indicating that a man from the past experimented with traveling and was tinkering with the physics that governs the universe. Now they must desperately seek to understand the possible connection between this man and the bleeding, and to uncover the secrets that will allow them to prevent universal annihilation. But despite their renewed efforts, the bleeding accelerates towards a spectacular climax.
