Oskar is a meager little leprechaun working for Santa Claus in packing his gifts. Neither very popular nor very smart, nobody wants to work with him. However, he is obedient and does what he is told.
One day, as if through chance, Santa needs an extra hand as he needs to set off to deliver presents all across the world and no was available to help him … except for Oskar. He volunteers to do the job. Through their journey, they reach a city, and Oskar is tasked to descend the Chimney and deposit the presents.
As he is going down, he hears a voice warning him not to return and falls off into the chimney. When he is inside the house, he finds himself transformed into a little boy. He continues to hear the voice which tells him to turn away.
He, nevertheless, follows his instinct and keeps journeying toward the glacier. From this moment, he reaches a magical land, an enchanted kingdom of beautiful fairies that is ruled by the evil ice queen.
While the fairies try to hide and protect him, the ice queen discovers his presence and is determined to destroy him. Oskar, led across the wondrous land, gradually begins to discover who he really is and finds clues about who had been calling out to him all along.
