Toby and The Angel

Set in the contemporary UK, Toby, a troubled 14 year-old boy, takes possession of The Angel, an ancient model ship. Hidden within it, he finds a cache of gold coins, becoming obsessed with the wealth and power he believes they will bring him. He also begins to dream he is The Angel's noble Captain, served by a loyal crew who encourage him into ever more dangerous behaviour in a fantasy world where Toby hunts and kills all who cross him. When his enemies begin to disappear from the real world, however, The Angel's sinister influence begins to take its toll, drawing Toby deeper into its own malevolent and destructive waters.
