She washed up on the unpredictable shores of the Island. Her name and past were gone like the monstrous storm that had nearly drowned her the night before. Gone- save for the cryptic verse on the scroll that materialized beside her:
"Her old name is gone
Along with her fame
No longer to light the Fallen ones'
Darkness and shame
Unto this island, unto you she's been given
To remember, to rediscover life in the Living
To this island she belongs now
This gem of the sea
Gone is the old
Her name is Melody"
The past frightens her.
And the future?
To save a gentle people she had grown to love.
