His wife, Mary Sewell, was born in Philadelphia, but, like her husband, was of English descent. When the American War of Independence broke out Isaac Hunt was practising as a lawyer in Philadelphia, but his zeal for theB ritish cause brought him into collision with his compatriots, and he was compelled to flee toE ngland for safety.(Typographical errors above are due to OCR software and don't occur in the book.)About the Publisher Forgotten Books is a publisher of historical writings, such as: Philosophy, Classics, Science, Religion, History, Folklore and Mythology.Forgotten Books' Classic Reprint Series utilizes the latest technology to regenerate facsimiles of historically important writings.
