That naughty saltwater crocodile is up to trouble again. This time he decides to go to the mainland and go up river. Of course he soon gets hungry and tries to eat a few things. But the Hippos have a different idea and Spiky goes hungry again.
This book will warn you not to put a tent up on the riverside if there is any chance a saltwater croc might be in the water. Thank goodness it all turns out well, except for Spiky that is; he has a major lesson to learn.
At the end of this book which is fully illustrated for early readers or parents to read to their children at bedtime , there is a written version of the story for the slightly older brothers and sisters and a couple of Spiky poems. I hope this helps everyone along the road to reading it by themselves.
