THE BIG RACE

Sixteen year old Mitch “The Mooch” Marino wants a go-kart so he can beat Ziggy Zeigler, his arch-enemy, in a race on Devil’s Drag Strip. Having no one to buy him a kart, Mitch must find a way to overcome his lazy and selfish mooching habits in order to accomplish his goal.The path to his goal is a long and sometimes painful one, partly because he is being raised by a single Mom who is barely making enough money to support them. Dad doesn’t always make his support payments on time, either, making it tough on both of them. Mitch hides his unhappiness by pretending to be proud of his reputation of being the worlds biggest moocher.
