About Yell and Tell
The Davidson Yell and Tell Foundation, Inc., is a 501 (c)(3) charitable foundation whose mission is to reach, teach and protect children. The Yell and Tell program is targeted toward young children who may see something dangerous and feel afraid, but not know what to do. Often, a child in this situation will run away or be quiet to avoid getting into trouble, or simply be too afraid to do anything. The Yell and Tell program teaches children to be responsible, speak up and take action if they see something dangerous. Squawk the Parrot is our mascot who shows children how to react.
There are seven teaching lessons to the program: Pools, Rivers/Lakes, Fire, Poison, Guns, Child Enticement, and Bullying. Each lesson covers a dangerous situation that a child might encounter.

The Yell and Tell Song
The song is to the tune of “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star.”
See it. Feel it. What should you do? Yell and Tell like Squawk shows you.
